Arnhem, July 1st, 2025 – The Dutch Handball Association (NHV) is proud to announce a new partnership: the renowned Japanese sports brand Mizuno will from now on be the official footwear partner of the NHV. As part of the partnership, Mizuno will provide handball shoes for the national (youth) teams, staff members and the national wheelchair handball players.

Mizuno, founded in 1906, is known worldwide for its innovative and high quality sports shoes. Within the handball world, the brand has built a strong reputation for advanced technologies and responding to the latest trends.

Current Mizuno ambassadors include players such as Dione Housheer, Bo van Wetering, Larissa Nusser, Yara ten Holte and Thomas Houtepen, all active within the national selections. Through these ambassadors, unique content and activation campaigns are created and distributed to Dutch handball fans, further increasing the visibility of the sport. With this new partnership, Mizuno, together with the NHV, is taking joint steps towards a future in which handball in the Netherlands continues to grow in quality, visibility and experience.
